The East Surrey Reunion will be held on the at Whiteley Village
360th Anniversary Reunion Warning Order on Putney Heath Saturday 16th October 2021
There will be a ceremony at the Monument on Putney Heath marking the spot where The Tangier Regiment first mustered on 14 th October 1661. A short Drum Head Service followed by a Reunion (Cash bar) at London Scottish Golf Club with Buffet Lunch( no Charge). This will also be an occasion to say farewell to LT Gen Doug Chambers CB, DSO, OBE on standing down as Colonel Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment . You should Muster at 1000 hours at Car Park with coffee at London Scottish Golf Club. Move to Monument at 1015 (10 minute walk).

26th June 2021 - Eastbourne and District armed Forces Day
This will be held in Five Acres field and is a free Community Event. The Blue Van Drop In will be there. See eastbourne-armed-forces-day-2021" for more info;
The Tour starts with the Battles around the River Escaut with both Regiments 1st Surreys and 1/5th and 1/6th Queens between 16 – 22 May 1940 and follows the story as these Regiments battled their way back to Dunkirk to be evacuated by the ‘little ships’ around 30 May 1940.
We will be bringing the personal accounts of some those who were there with us and visiting the CWGC at Esquelmes where we have 38 Queensmen buried.

A small contingent of Queensmen went over to the town of Sint Niklaas to commemorate the liberation from German Occupation.
