The Queen's Royal Surrey Regiment
The Regimental Association
The Queen’s Royal Surrey Regiment Association was open to anyone who has served in The Queen's Royal Regiment, The East Surrey Regiment or The Queen's Royal Surrey Regiment (regular or territorial). It organised a number of functions each year. Amongst these were: the Annual Reunion usually held at the Union Jack Club, London in November; and the Annual Church Service, usually held at Guildford Cathedral in June.
Due to the advancing years of members and the steadily reduction in membership it was decided to close to Association in 2011. Funds were distributed as follows: One Million pounds were passed to Headquarters The Princess Of Wales’s Royal Regiment (Our Successor) to fund Benevolence, £300,000 endowment to the Surrey Infantry Museum at Clandon Park, £50,000 to each of the Regimental Chapels at Guildford Cathedral, Holy Trinity Guildford and All Saints , Kingston upon Thames.
Responsibility for Reunions, Benevolence and General Contact is now undertaken as follows:
Regimental Headquarters The Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment. Area Secretary: Henry Thomas MBE, 01227817970 henry.thomas112@mod.uk RHQ PWRR, Leros Barracks, Sturry Road, Canterbury, Kent, CT1 1HR.

- The first meeting held at Fulwell Golf Course on Thursday and Friday 30 and 31 October.
- At the first AGM, held at Fulwell Park on 30 October the following elections were made:
- The Colonel of the Regiment, General Sir John Longley as President of the Society for three years

- In 1933 29 members attended the Spring meeting at Risborough Barracks on 10 April
Between 1933 and 1935 Spring Meetings were hosted by the 2nd Battailon at the Hythe Golf. Golf was suspended from November 1938 to 1947 when Brigadier Roupell was elected President and Capt HC Mason was elected Captain. The Spring and Autumn meetings continued as two day meetings until 1982.
With the amalgamation of the Queen's Royal Regiment and East Surrey Regiment in 1959 to (form the Queen's Royal Surrey Regiment, it was resolved to call the amalgamated golf society The Queen's Royal Surrey Regiment Golf Society with effect from the Spring Meeting on 3 and 4 May 1960.
Annual matches continued to be played with the Royal Marines at North Hants GC, Fleet until 2005.
In 2007 an annual match with the Royal Hampshire Regt GS was arranged on an annual basis.
