Lt Col B C Pincombe MC
Commanded 2/5th Bn The Queen's Royal Regiment from May 1945 to August 1945. Brian Conibear Pincombe was born on 9th September-1918 and was commissioned in The Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Regiment in August 1938.
He served in France in 1940 and was awarded the Military Cross.
He was Mentioned in Despatches in August 1944.
From May 1945 to August 1945 he commanded 2/5th Bn The Queen's Royal Regiment in Italy. He died in 1949.
